The Byron Carmichael Game.

Rules and directions for the game are below.

 

Through this game you will be diving into the world of Byron Carmichael.  There you will meet Byron, his two friends Nick and Gracie, and be introduced to some of the twists and suspense, waiting for you.

To play the game, you will be given modified passages of text taken from Byron Carmichael Book One.  As you read over the text, you will have to search for clues added within the reading that make reference to one of your favorite young adult authors or one of their stories.  If you find the clues and think you know the author or story, then take a look at the question that follows each passage.  Place your answer in the answer box and click on the submit icon.

If you are correct, you will be sent to the next round of the contest.  There, you will be rewarded with a short phrase. This phrase is a portion of the final question that spans the entire game and one that you will need for the end of the game.  Write that phrase down and keep it in a safe place.

You will also be given the second passage for round two of the game.  Read this passage, looking for more clues and hints of a second young adult author.  Answer the question posted below the passage and follow the same steps as you did for round one.

The game will include 11 passages modified from the Byron Carmichael novel and 11 of your favorite authors.
